Happy 4th of July 2020 from The Marchena Home Team

I would first like to start by saying a huge THANK YOU to the brave men and women who have put everything on the line to protect this great nation that we have all been so blessed to live in AMERICA!

Now let’s all say the pledge of allegiance aloud
“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under GOD, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Love your God, Love your Family, Love your Nation, Love your Home, Love your Neighbor. God Bless America!

Despite 2020 being a crazy year and that’s a huge understatement with Covid-19, followed by the great division of 2020, I would like you to take some time to reflect on all of the positive things in our life here in America, so I want you to think about what you have and truly try to appreciate it. The crazy part is most people take most things for granted, so please try to realize that even though sometimes you feel as if your life is not as you believed it should be there are thousands of people throughout our world that would gladly trade places with you. You live in one of the most diverse countries that allow freedom of speech and has evolved over the years to become one of the most equally opportunistic nations in the world, and for that, you should be truly grateful to be a part of this amazing place I am proud to call home AMERICA. Now for those negative nellies that always find something negative to say I am not claiming that America is perfect, but to claim anything or anyone is perfect is completely unrealistic, but what I am claiming is we live in an amazing nation with lots of opportunities for all who reside here, if they want to work hard to achieve the American dream. I would also like to congratulate all of the people who were born here or have made the journey to come into this amazing country and are living the American dream.

To our Military men and women

I wish there was truly a way for me to show you the respect, gratitude, and love I have for you. The amount of selflessness it takes to join the military or to become a cop to serve and protect this great nation is something we civilians can not ever repay you for, and again I wish I could really express the overwhelming amount of respect I have for you. The only thing I can say is God Bless you and your family, and THANK YOU for everything you do for America.

Sincerely Michael Marchena & The Marchena Family

Learn about the Fourth of July – Independence Day

The Fourth of July—also known as Independence Day or July 4th—has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1941, but the tradition of Independence Day celebrations goes back to the 18th century and the American Revolution. On July 2nd, 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence, and two days later delegates from the 13 colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence, a historic document drafted by Thomas Jefferson. From 1776 to the present day, July 4th has been celebrated as the birth of American independence, with festivities ranging from fireworks, parades, and concerts to more casual family gatherings and barbecues. The Fourth of July 2020 is on Saturday, July 4, 2020. Learn more here about the Fourth of July – Independence Day
